They replaced the system same day I called and with a better price than others had quoted. On 11/1/24 Tyson replaced my Hot water system. From starting to end, Tyson was very friendly and professional. He finished the job in a neat and clean manner and left the place clean. I had a challenging job for the boys, and that was to remove my old 300lt solar hot water system from the roof, which was 3 levels up!!!! and then some how find the best way to get the gas from ground level up to the top level to install a new gas instantaneous hot water system into my laundry. I was dreading the day when Grant, Marcos and Jake came to do the job, as I knew the old system was going to have to be taken down and out through the apartment. The whole day it took to complete, went far smoother than expected. Grant was not phased by the job at all, I like a challenge he said. He came up with a good plan when he quoted for the job and on the day of removal and installation, any changes to that plan (and there were some) he spoke with me and explained why the changes were necessary prior to going ahead. Especially noticeable to me as an engineer was the very high level of professional pride in the plumbing of the system into my house plumbing, all piping and jointing was perfectly straight and aligned and all joints were perfect. My elderly mothers tank stopped working and I quickly went online to look and saw Ferguson plumbing. They were able to come out straight away which was great but what they quoted for the job was just under $4,000. I just couldn’t believe the price so I quickly rang my go to plumber and he told me to ring Australian hot water which I did and they did the same job for $1,000. I am shocked that there could be such a variance in price.

Hi All,I would like to share my experience with Australian Hot Water. I recently signed deal with them for my hot water update. The deal signed on Thursday, and they turned up the next Monday with everything ready. After the installation, we found the meter needs to be switched from Off-peak 1 to 2 . That is saying we are not going to get hot water until the next morning because the hot water unit currently running at night. The guys didn't leave us in this award situation, they called the boss and installed a temporary GPO for us, without any charges! I would like to call out the great service, and I will definitely recommend them to anyone who need to install the hot water system!

My 12-year old continuous water heater gave signs of old age thus needed replacement. Billy (from Australian Hot Water - West) immediately called me back to understand my issue and gave me options for replacement.Billy has given me reasonable quotes - which is inclusive of alterations to the existing pipework (for which I found other suppliers to be charging additional cost on top of the supplied-installed quotes).After accepting the quote in the morning, Matt is already at our doorstep in less than 3 hours - and fixed/replaced our outdoor water heating unit and indoor controller. I found Matt to very professional, friendly and considerate. I observe his respect not only for his customer - but also on his customer's home. He works very neatly - that you won't see any traces of materials left on work area. Seldom do I see tradies who cleans up and would remove working shoes when they get inside the customer's homes. I have a solar hot water unit and have had no hot water for 3 days. I spoke to a number of friends that are plumbers including my Nephew, every one of them said to call Aust Hot Water, as the will be faster and cheaper than them.I made the call Thursday afternoon and John turned up first thing Friday morning, he had one look at my switchboard and found the problem. He could of bluffed me into paying for a new HWU as I had already told him we would need to replace it. Its a rare thing in this day and age (at least for me) to find someone so honest and reliable. Matt and Kai turned up early and as I knew already my water heater would need to be replaced. Then had a long discussion re a like for like replacement or swapping to a instant hot water system. Instant came out slightly cheaper and it's what I wanted since I had one at my old property. They just got on with it and done a great job. Australian Hot Water -East (Marcus, Grant and team) installed a 26 liter Riannai heater for us, they also removed the old heater tank that we originally had in our laundry room. They did an amazing job installing the new unit, they relocated the new heater outside the house so new connections and pipes were required. I can say that all the new pipes and connections are very well done and nicely place around the existing Gas and hot water pipes. Our old 80 gal gravity feed Joseph Autohot water heater in the roof sprung a major leak flowing through the ceiling into the house. I contacted Australian Hot Water who were excellent in quickly responding and discussing options, we deciding on Rheem Model 4A1315. This involved isolating the old roof heater, planning and installing new pipework etc coupling the new outside water heater to existing pipework. I could not have been happier with the speed, expertise and professionalism in organising and completing the installation now working perfectly. They were very easy to deal with and the pricing for our complex installation was very reasonable, I would certainly recommend them to others requiring similar services.

Great experience, we are converting from gas to electricity. They installed a heat pump hot water system which needed new wiring, they also ran a new circuit to the kitchen for an electric cooktop. All the work was done quickly but carefully, pipework and wiring was neat and tidy, as was the site when they left. Minimum disruption. Our large hot water system leaked late on a Friday afternoon. While it was clear the system needs to be replaced, no plumber would offer to do the work, let alone on the weekend. Wayne from AHW called back within a reasonable timeframe after leaving a message for service request.He was very knowledgeable and offered that the brand Aquamax is much the same as Rheem, just different branding.He was pretty much booked out but came by the next morning with the new electric hot water for a quick removal and installation, and tests to ensure everything is good to go.Though it may look pricey, but it's the convenience of not having to install it yourself and your cost to remove the old one.The time and effort by Wayne was impeccable.
