They replaced the system same day I called and with a better price than others had quoted. On 11/1/24 Tyson replaced my Hot water system. From starting to end, Tyson was very friendly and professional. He finished the job in a neat and clean manner and left the place clean. Australian Hot Water – East, were the best!!! I had a challenging job for the boys, and that was to remove my old 300lt solar hot water system from the roof, which was 3 levels up!!!! and then some how find the best way to get the gas from ground level up to the top level to install a new gas instantaneous hot water system into my laundry. I was dreading the day when Grant, Marcos and Jake came to do the job, as I knew the old system was going to have to be taken down and out through the apartment. The whole day it took to complete, went far smoother than expected. Grant was not phased by the job at all, I like a challenge he said. He came up with a good plan when he quoted for the job and on the day of removal and installation, any changes to that plan (and there were some) he spoke with me and explained why the changes were necessary prior to going ahead. Great, efficient service!- one evening, our old water tank started leaking, so the next morning I contacted Australian Hot Water and they promptly came to assess the problem, advised a new tank was needed and gave me various options/ prices. Paul and his apprentice were able to install the tank that day and dispose of the old one. Excellent service, third time I have used these folk in Leumeah for hot water systems and service. Excellent standard of workmanship in the installation of my new Rheem system. Especially noticeable to me as an engineer was the very high level of professional pride in the plumbing of the system into my house plumbing, all piping and jointing was perfectly straight and aligned and all joints were perfect. Excellent service within in 12 hours of placing the order for my new Rheem system. Previous installation was also by Macarthur Hot Water and supplied by Australian Hot Water. It lasted 25 years and this new one will most likely do the same.

It is Saturday night and the water heater is so hot it has warped the cupboard it is in and I am expecting it to explode at any minute so I call Australian Hot Water (not really expecting anyone to answer). Belinda is incredible!! She not only picked up the call but calmed me down and talked me through what to do before contacting the real estate so I returned from work on Monday to a new tank. Wonderful, quick responsive, hospitable and friendly team. The best and most affordable!I only wish I had of chosen Australian hot water firstly when I looked online for a supplier/installer of a 50litre electric hot water tank. My elderly mothers tank stopped working and I quickly went online to look and saw Ferguson plumbing. They were able to come out straight away which was great but what they quoted for the job was just under $4,000. I just couldn’t believe the price so I quickly rang my go to plumber and he told me to ring Australian hot water which I did and they did the same job for $1,000. I am shocked that there could be such a variance in price.

AHW recently installed my new heat pump hot water heater. I wanted an efficient electric hot water system to replace my gas hot water system. I needed one that was lightweight and could be installed on my cantilever balcony, and was quiet too as it was next to my bedroom. So they installed a Sanden heat pump system that does the job. Great quality, professional and responsive.

Hi All,I would like to share my experience with Australian Hot Water. I recently signed deal with them for my hot water update. The deal signed on Thursday, and they turned up the next Monday with everything ready. After the installation, we found the meter needs to be switched from Off-peak 1 to 2 . That is saying we are not going to get hot water until the next morning because the hot water unit currently running at night. The guys didn't leave us in this award situation, they called the boss and installed a temporary GPO for us, without any charges! I would like to call out the great service, and I will definitely recommend them to anyone who need to install the hot water system!

Rang AHW and spoke to Steve on the 29th May, organised Grant to come the next day to check it out, got our quote the following morning, we had our tank delivered on Sat, rang Steve on Mon, Grant showed up today, few hours later, Hot Water is ON! Few things worth mentioned here: they dont bull you (i did call a few just to check on pricing etc) - straight forward honest quote, they even helped us with the rebate paperworks! Which is amazing! My 12-year old continuous water heater gave signs of old age thus needed replacement. Billy (from Australian Hot Water - West) immediately called me back to understand my issue and gave me options for replacement.Billy has given me reasonable quotes - which is inclusive of alterations to the existing pipework (for which I found other suppliers to be charging additional cost on top of the supplied-installed quotes).After accepting the quote in the morning, Matt is already at our doorstep in less than 3 hours - and fixed/replaced our outdoor water heating unit and indoor controller. I found Matt to very professional, friendly and considerate. I observe his respect not only for his customer - but also on his customer's home. He works very neatly - that you won't see any traces of materials left on work area. Seldom do I see tradies who cleans up and would remove working shoes when they get inside the customer's homes. Matt removed his ones, although it would have been fine with me.The family really appreciated the work delivered by AHW-West - and the excellent customer service we received. Will definitely keep them in our contacts list for hot water/plumbing issues.

I have a solar hot water unit and have had no hot water for 3 days. I spoke to a number of friends that are plumbers including my Nephew, every one of them said to call Aust Hot Water, as the will be faster and cheaper than them.I made the call Thursday afternoon and John turned up first thing Friday morning, he had one look at my switchboard and found the problem. He could of bluffed me into paying for a new HWU as I had already told him we would need to replace it. Its a rare thing in this day and age (at least for me) to find someone so honest and reliable. I would recommend them to anyone that needed work done.

Recently installed a new hot water system through AHS East Sydney. Had a very positive experience. Steve in the showroom was very pleasant to deal with and explained things clearly to me. Marcus and Noah installed the system and after 2 months, nil issues to date. They also returned today free of charge to change a pipe which I had chosen on the day, but later changed my mind for aesthetic reasons. Was very happy that they came back for me when technically they had already finished the job. Would recommend to other owners.
Matt and Kai turned up early and as I knew already my water heater would need to be replaced. Then had a long discussion re a like for like replacement or swapping to a instant hot water system. Instant came out slightly cheaper and it's what I wanted since I had one at my old property. They just got on with it and done a great job. Removed the old tank system cleaned up after themselves and done a 5* star job that came in under what I was expecting to pay.

Australian Hot Water -East (Marcus, Grant and team) installed a 26 liter Riannai heater for us, they also removed the old heater tank that we originally had in our laundry room. They did an amazing job installing the new unit, they relocated the new heater outside the house so new connections and pipes were required. I can say that all the new pipes and connections are very well done and nicely place around the existing Gas and hot water pipes. I recommend these guys for your hot water services, they are professionals and their quotes for the services provided to us were reasonable.

Our old 80 gal gravity feed Joseph Autohot water heater in the roof sprung a major leak flowing through the ceiling into the house. I contacted Australian Hot Water who were excellent in quickly responding and discussing options, we deciding on Rheem Model 4A1315. This involved isolating the old roof heater, planning and installing new pipework etc coupling the new outside water heater to existing pipework. I could not have been happier with the speed, expertise and professionalism in organising and completing the installation now working perfectly. They were very easy to deal with and the pricing for our complex installation was very reasonable, I would certainly recommend them to others requiring similar services.

I'm a plumber. My elderly neighbours had hot water issues but I just didn't have time. I told them to call Aus Hot Water. Unfortunately they rang a different plumber who quoted them 6 grand. Great experience, we are converting from gas to electricity. They installed a heat pump hot water system which needed new wiring, they also ran a new circuit to the kitchen for an electric cooktop. All the work was done quickly but carefully, pipework and wiring was neat and tidy, as was the site when they left. Minimum disruption. The office staff communicated regularly throughout the lead up all thorough professionals, thanks everyone.

Last year Billy helped us fix our old tank's ignition over the phone (with no charges), which then lasted us for another year. Extremely happy with Australian Hot Water. They showed up on time, explained what new equipment was required to install my new water tank and pricing. Outstanding service of Wayne and Daniel in supplying and installing my new hot water tank. My old hot water suddenly gave up after 14 years in the eve of the State of Origin. Hoping against hope that I maybe able to get in touch with hot water specialist in this evening, when almost all are watching the State of Origin and can not be bothered, I contacted Australian Hot Water who answered my call right away and provided me a number who would assist me on my problem. I contacted the number and was able to right away talk to Wayne. He sorted my problem and arranged the delivery and installation of a new hot water tank the next day. The next day, the new hot water is installed as per schedule. Wayne and Daniel you both are a legend.
Great Job, Australian Hot Water. I used the Caringbah store. I called Mat in the office with issue on Electric Storage system. He sent Brent out same day. Brent showed up spot on time and diagnosed my system. This is where these guys are great. Not only plumbing experience but also electrical. Brent found that the Hot Water system itself was fine and diagnosed it back to my Off Peak meter which had not triggered as usual. Brent got it working and informed if happens again contact electrical supply company. So in the end a relatively cheap outcome. I must congratulate Brent- very professional and helpful.. Just had Luke come round to install a new gas hot water unit. John came out on a Saturday afternoon, on a last minute call out. He was professional, efficient and spoke in language I understood. He fixed my hot water system and even showed me how to fix the problem myself if the same thing were to happen again.5 star service with a smile! We had a very positive interaction with Luke from Australian Hot Water. He arrived within the time window that was given to us and was considerate to wear a mask.While our issue was resolved fairly quickly (pilot light relight), Luke was very professional and explained to us how to resolve the issue ourselves next time. We also inquired about options for replacements (should the worst happen) and sought his opinion on gas/electric tanks which he was happy to share.I can see why Australian Hot Water is so highly rated on the reviews here as Luke was an absolute professional. I'm not even mad about the modest service charge as I've definitely learnt a lot! :)
The service was of a good standard, responsive and priced reasonable, however the time commitments were not properly handled and a small pricing commitment, the workers Kye and co plumber were excellent, they did leave a little mess [of course placed the same in the correct recycle bin] which is good,. all in all they did an excellent job.
Our large hot water system leaked late on a Friday afternoon. While it was clear the system needs to be replaced, no plumber would offer to do the work, let alone on the weekend. I found these guys through a google search on our current model. They immediately quoted, which was better than what others were quoting. We booked them in and they turned up as promised. It was a very hot and himid day, but no complaints and just got the job done showing me how to use the new system, leaving no mess and putting fencing back in place as well. They also took care of the 22 year old system as well. So glad we found them. I'm recommending them to you without hesitation.
Wayne from AHW called back within a reasonable timeframe after leaving a message for service request.He was very knowledgeable and offered that the brand Aquamax is much the same as Rheem, just different branding.He was pretty much booked out but came by the next morning with the new electric hot water for a quick removal and installation, and tests to ensure everything is good to go.Though it may look pricey, but it's the convenience of not having to install it yourself and your cost to remove the old one.The time and effort by Wayne was impeccable. We enjoyed your service on the day.
Woke up this morning went to have a shower and no hot water. Rang a few places and due to it being christmas / new year time no answer. Rang Australian Hot Water South problem fixed on the day. Was expecting to pay a holiday premium on the price nope got a very fair price. Very happy with the service if your going to use them hope you get John

Very efficient. I asked for quotation on-line and AHW rep arrived within 2 hours to inspect and provide quote and answer all queries. When I accepted quote, Matt in the Office ensured installation co-ordinated with roof replacement which I wanted done at same time. Highly recommend.

Sweet.2:46pm - called to say that he'll arrive soon2:55pm - repairman arrived.3:03pm - problem identified - broken thermostat.3:15pm - problem fixed and sorted.4:07pm - hot water is back to normal, paid via bank transfer. And I'm writing this review.Thanks guys - really easy and simple, job done, and we have hot showers again.

Wow, these guys were just simply amazing, I've had few plumbers come out and ended up picking figures out of the blue. And then came these guys, they spent a fair bit of time/days and informed in detail various options and best lowest prices to start. It was great to have a feeling like your not getting ripped off and they genuinely price the job. Nothing was too difficult, although it was a fair bit of work. Yesterday found our gas HWS tank was leaking after 24 years use.Last night wrote a message to Australian Hot Water for a quote and this morning 7:30am Cameron had a look and it was replaced before lunch.Decided on the gas instantaneous which required a bit of copper to connect to our larger diameter pipes but the job is super tidy.Friendly guys and neat work. Definitely recommend! I called Australian Hot Water at 9.30am after waking to no hot water and by 1pm the same day we had a new hot water system installed. This included a free assessment and quote with 3 different options. All points of contact were professional, courteous and were nice guys to chat to. I had a really good experience with these guys. I would specifically like to thank John and Josh for providing an honest and affordable service in a challenging older strata building that a lot of people would have walked away from.I was so happy with the service first time around that I contacted AHW a second time to ask if they could refer me to a plumber to do some other invasive cold water work. It turns out that they were able to do it themselves for around 1/6 of what a few other plumbers told me it would cost.It’s nice to know there are some honest tradies left. Thanks again!

Woke up to no hot water the other day at my rental property and a loud noise coming from the hot water unit. I called my real estate and within a very short period of time had a call from a gentleman from Australian Hot Water. He was very polite and after explaining my situation he told me that someone would be out to see me in 30mins. A very ploite and professional young man was then at my house in no time - he quickly diagnosed the problem and that very same same day i had a new hot water unit installed. The next morning I had hot water again. The whole process was seamless. I will definitely recommend this company in the future.

Everything that would be entailed, to allow for appropriate decisions to be made.The additional suggestions that were provided have also been extremely helpful, with the candid discussions.Installation was outsourced, the people they had used were very professional, helpful and knowledgable as well.

I called Australian Hot Water 9:00am and told them about my problem with my Hot Water Service, I was told they would here between 12:00pm and 1:00pm, and get a phone call before they turned up. It all happened exactly like that. Best service I have experienced for a long time, it was all done in half an hour. I was also told what to expect to pay, and that was spot on too. I can highly recommend them.
Chris and his team were great. Came the same day and hooked up replacement tank to get me through until gas connected. Once gas hooked up, they promptly returned to install a new gas hot water system, plus plumbing for heating and gas cook top. Couldn't be happier. Great service and advice, fast, good price, highly recommend.
We were without hot water for 2 days due to our gas hot water system failing. Due to the urgency we got another company out and were quoted $1,450+ from them to repair the system. The other company was pressuring us to replace various parts on the hot water system at grossly inflated cost. Called and spoke with Billy from Australian hot water who qouted over the phone. The technician Dean was at my house within 2 hours and fixed up our system with just a basic common part, saving us over $1,100 in the process. Will definitely call Australian hot water first for any service or repair in the future!
My solar hot water tank leaked but the new tank was not available. I was offered to replace it with a temporary tank free of charge. The new tank was finally replaced without any problem. Good service and price.
Had hotwater Rheem installed a few weeks ago due to leakage of an old model. Good job, fast response, aslo covered carpets in the house to prevent damage when going through the room. Highly recommended
had Kris around to quote on replacing my hot water system to gas, as he was doing this he asked what was wrong with my hot water, told him, he then found the problem. i have now got hot water, I had been told by another plumber that my system was gone, When my system goes I will be using Australian hot water to replace it,

Service was beyond amazing!! I had an issue with my hot water system, contacted a few places and they said they can't fix the issue. Then I stumbled on these guys by accident and they came over and fixed the problem same day in a matter of 20 minutes or so. Im a very happy customer, their service is great.
