Called Kevin who was most professional and gave me, over the phone, a true estimate of the cost. Never had any problems with Australian Hot Water (Leumeah) before so Kevin sent Paul.

The quote was competitive, their service was friendly and efficient, and the job was done quickly and fuss-free. My old gas storage cistern was replaced with a continuous flow unit quickly and quietly. I could not be happier.
We had some issue after install but the guys came out and fixed up immediately and did a few visits until it was all right. Then a few months later the gas was turned off and consequently turned the system off. AHW came out (on a Saturday night) to turn back on and do a little tutorial on the system to understand it better. Thanks Kevin!
I strongly recommend Kevin, he supplied and installed aquamax for us, he was very straight forward, easy going and helpful. He came over, installed the system, he cared about every little detail. He wrapped the pipes in foam for protection, organized the pipes neatly and hot water system is securely installed. I enjoyed his service. Professional and excellent job! He also walked me through how to turn it on and off and gave me a lot of details about the product when I asked. He is the go to person in this field! And I trusted his prices too.
Well done to the entire team at Australian Hot Water Inner West at Belmore. Through a water bill that I received I worked out that my hot water system had failed. I went to the store on Tuesday and was met by Eddie. Both him and Belinda worked out a price and time of installation - installed that day. Was told 1.30pm and they were on time. The van came down the driveway and straight away the installer greeted me very friendly and told me his name straight up with a hand shake. Thats what I like to see in life. Hi name was Josh. Overnight my ageing hot water service thermostat failed. There was no hot water in the morning. I called Australian Hot Water at 8:00am that morning. I had an unpleasant experience with a plumbing company yesterday. I was advised that I needed a new hot water service. He did the evaluation at $461 even though I advised that this had been done last Friday. After completing the evaluation listed quote he said I needed a new service. Cost $4700. Shown on an Ipad. He didn’t email the quote. Still not receiving the quote I did some further research and came across Australian Hot Water. I rang and spoke to Kevin. He advised he would come and check the service and the board to make sure it is the water service. Remembering I had been told, it was the service. Kevin came promptly, checked the service and! No it was the board. I didn’t need a new service. His quote for a Rheem Electric Hot water service installed $1700 12 yr warranty on case. I cant thank Kevin enough for his service, integrity, honesty and reasonable pricing. I discussed my situation yesterday, he advised he has been in the business for 40 years. I’m not surprised, his integrity and reputation speak for themselves. Serving the community for so long. I have no hesitation in recommending this business and Kevin.

Our elctric hot water system stopped working recently. This was initially installed by the by the same company "Australian Hot Water - Macarthur" around 10 years ago. Tip - make sure you get AU Hot Water to install your water heater - they do it all the time and know the tricks to get a compact installation.

Australian Hot Water replaced our gas water heater and were absolutely brilliant to deal with. They came out to quote some different options (we considered moving to electric), and after choosing to replace the gas unit, it was installed 48 hours later. Angus, the installer, was absolutely great - prompt, polite, and did a super tidy job. All competitively priced too. Can’t fault them 10/10 recommend.
Although they were very busy Kevin was able to fit me in on the same day I rang. He even arrived earlier than arranged, which suited me fine. New hot water system was installed easily and quickly! By far the best customer service for any trade industry I’ve experienced. We have a new born and as our hot water tank busted, Georgie got someone out almost within a few hours to look at the issue on a Friday. Angus gave some great advice while here and once we confirmed the new system, had Theo pop in first thing Monday to get us a temporary replacement system at no cost to us while the one we ordered arrives. They are the best in the business. Great people, great company and the prices are very competitive. If all trade industries were like Australian Hot Water, the world would be a better place, not even joking. The last thing you want is have someone come and quote you a ridiculous price because you are desperate as they can take advantage of the situation. Sounds over the top but we have had a lot of things to resolve in our property, we have had so many trades people come in and more than half of them quoted ridiculous prices (double) or works that don’t need to be done (I checked the brands they used and reviews). Anyway, very fair and they have my vote for any works to be done.

Australian Hot Water technicians are highly skilled in solving any hot water systems issues. They came last year fixed our leakage issues within an hour. We live in 2567 post code area. Today morning I called them as we had only Lukewarm water and they sent a technician within 2 hours, and the problem was fixed in 25 minutes. I am taking my time to write this review because last year when we had the problems with our hot water systems, I used other companies and they changed me a lot of money yet could not fix it properly whereas once I discovered this company, it was a true EUREKA. I had a Rheem Hot water system installed. I rang few hot water companies. Spoke to Wayne over the phone and Wayne gave me correct advise for what I needed for my house. Wayne came over gave me a quote and next day Daniel arrived and installed the Rheem gas hot water and it was seamless installation and arrived on time. I didn't even pay on the spot I rang the service center and paid over the phone. I've been using Australian Hot Water for last 26 years and found service excellent. Just had my hot water system replaced by A&A hot water Cardiff, my system had dramatically exploded and tipped over during the night. I called early in the morning and was quoted in person that day and replaced with a brand new Heat Pump system by the afternoon. Adam and his crew on site were excellent! they even managed to drain the old tank into a waste pipe, whilst the old heater laying on its side! This avoided burning my grass (which i take pride in). I didnt even ask they do this, they were just super professional and took care of what they were doing. I spoke with Matt about replacing a gas hot water system, he was quick to return with a competitive next-day quote and he was professional over the phone.
Unlike the previous shady plumber who tried to take advantage of my parents by charging a $600 diagnosis fee and $4000+ like-for-like replacement fee, Matt actually suggested a cheaper model that had the same internals & warranty period to the one I was after - but I was set on the pricier model.
The hot water system was replaced on the agreed date and timeframe, and the quality of the installation was to a high standard even though it was a Friday arvo job.
There were no extra costs associated with the installation and the whole process was very smooth as it should be, even the card payment processing fee was already factored into the price.
Prompt quote, competitive pricing (I got a few quotes), quick turnaround, no surprises. The team that came to install our new heat pump hot water system were very knowledgeable and professional and did a great job with the install and explaining the system to me. Highly recommend!

Today Isaac installed our Rheem electric hot water tank and did a very good job as he was very thorough. The company is very honest as they will give you a good fair price and will make sure to proceed with the quoted price. Isaac was very polite and really helpful in explaining the benefits of an electric hot water tank compared to solar hot water tank and was more than happy to answer any of our questions in good detail. I had a split system SANDEN 300L heatpump installed last week. Couldn't be happier with it and Australian Hot Water (Canberra) and the entire installation process.
Some months back I got 6 or so quotes from a variety of hotwater companies in Canberra. I was exploring all options to replace my (almost 30 year old) existing gas hotwater tank (which was leaking). Among the best and most professional quotes was from Graham from Australian Hot Water. He wasn't pushy at all and on my request he gave me quotes for multiple hot water options i.e. gas, electric, heatpump (both all in one and split system). I'd never heard of heatpumps at the time and subsequently did my own research. After weighing up the various hotwater options, and different suppliers, I ended up deciding on the SANDEN split system heatpump from Australian Hot Water (Canberra), based on Grahams very professional quote in person (in particular all the time he spent explaining all options to me). Their price was also the best (or else similar) to my other SANDEN spilt system quotes. Furthermore however, turns out Australian Hot Water are one of only four (i think) companies in Canberra where you get a $1250 rebate off the purchase price (if you're with ActewAGL for electricity) so this further brought the cost down significantly.
When my existing hot water system ended up failing and stopped working altogether (which was very stressful at the time), Kylie (admin lady on the phone) was able to organise a temporary hot water tank at short notice (for the next day thankfully), which gave us hot water again. She also organised and fast tracked an install of a brand new split system SANDEN heatpump just a few days later (for which I was very appreciative).
Kylie also handled all the re-quoting (as the rebates had increased, so price had come down significantly) and organised all the interest free finance available to us here in the ACT (so no upfront out of pocket expense at all). It all couldn't have been simpler.
The actual installation itself was just as professional. Plumbers turned up at midday, removed my old tank (and the temporary tank) and were happy to explain what they were doing and answer all my questions. The installation was very neat and tidy. Friends/family all commented on how neat and professional the new system looks. As the plumbers were finishing the electricians arrived and were just as professional. They ran a separate circuit to my fuse box and were in and out with no fuss. Total installation (and removal of old system) took just under 4 hours.

We were warmly welcomed by Sammy who works in the office, she patiently explains to us of the services they offer and how they can help us with the government rebates. She promptly organise a free onsite quotation for us.
When Theo came to our house in a timely manner, he explains to us the pros and cons of the electric water tank and the heat pump and gives us no pressure to install either option. Theo has been in the industry for decades, he gave us valuable information as well as some tips to identify scammers for these government rebates. He is knowledge and easygoing.
On the day of installation, Michael, Martin and Theo came earlier than the appointment time. I was surprised as there were the only one of the many tradies that I meet lately that's actually on time. The installation was done within 1.5 hour. The whole time, these gentlemen had been very very professional, communicating prior and well so I have predictability. They all had been in the industry and the company for a long time! They are very skilful and careful! They cleaned up after themselves too!
I will be recommending them to my friends and family, I am sure that I will be a returning customer for any of my hot water needs.

I can’t recommend Australian Hot water West highly enough. I made the mistake of falling for one of the cheap as chips Hot water “offers” going around at the moment (Emerald brand) and when it all went pear shaped after just two years (the emerald system stopped working and parts were unobtainable) Australian hot water West not only gave me a good deal on a replacement, they supplied me with a temporary plug in hot water system until they could source and install a new system. A reputable brand (a Rheem ambipower 280). Done and dusted in 24 hours…couldn’t be happier

Steve organised for someone to come out and take a look same day and within hours he had booked servicing with the manufacturer. The hot water system was fixed the following Monday. Prompt service from the request for quote to the installation. My only gripes are the relatively small mess ( pieces of plumber's tape , timber drilling dust) left outside by the installers, the packing tape left sticking on the HWS and not sealing the hot water pipe penetration through the weatherboard. Other than those minor matters everything was done professionally, courteously and in a timely manner.

Billy was very friendly and helpful. He explained the pros and cons of heat pump vs electric hot water systems in conjunction with our new solar panels. Service was amazing and the price was great. Australian Hot Water – East, were the best!!! I had a challenging job for the boys, and that was to remove my old 300lt solar hot water system from the roof, which was 3 levels up!!!! and then some how find the best way to get the gas from ground level up to the top level to install a new gas instantaneous hot water system into my laundry. I was dreading the day when Grant, Marcos and Jake came to do the job, as I knew the old system was going to have to be taken down and out through the apartment. The whole day it took to complete, went far smoother than expected. Grant was not phased by the job at all, I like a challenge he said. He came up with a good plan when he quoted for the job and on the day of removal and installation, any changes to that plan (and there were some) he spoke with me and explained why the changes were necessary prior to going ahead. AHW recently installed my new heat pump hot water heater. I wanted an efficient electric hot water system to replace my gas hot water system. I needed one that was lightweight and could be installed on my cantilever balcony, and was quiet too as it was next to my bedroom. So they installed a Sanden heat pump system that does the job. Great quality, professional and responsive.
I would like to share my experience with Australian Hot Water. I recently signed deal with them for my hot water update. The deal signed on Thursday, and they turned up the next Monday with everything ready. After the installation, we found the meter needs to be switched from Off-peak 1 to 2 . That is saying we are not going to get hot water until the next morning because the hot water unit currently running at night. The guys didn't leave us in this award situation, they called the boss and installed a temporary GPO for us, without any charges! I would like to call out the great service, and I will definitely recommend them to anyone who need to install the hot water system!

Rang AHW and spoke to Steve on the 29th May, organised Grant to come the next day to check it out, got our quote the following morning, we had our tank delivered on Sat, rang Steve on Mon, Grant showed up today, few hours later, Hot Water is ON! Few things worth mentioned here: they dont bull you (i did call a few just to check on pricing etc) - straight forward honest quote, they even helped us with the rebate paperworks! Which is amazing! My 12-year old continuous water heater gave signs of old age thus needed replacement. Billy (from Australian Hot Water - West) immediately called me back to understand my issue and gave me options for replacement.
Billy has given me reasonable quotes - which is inclusive of alterations to the existing pipework (for which I found other suppliers to be charging additional cost on top of the supplied-installed quotes).
After accepting the quote in the morning, Matt is already at our doorstep in less than 3 hours - and fixed/replaced our outdoor water heating unit and indoor controller. I found Matt to very professional, friendly and considerate. I observe his respect not only for his customer - but also on his customer's home. He works very neatly - that you won't see any traces of materials left on work area. Seldom do I see tradies who cleans up and would remove working shoes when they get inside the customer's homes. Matt removed his ones, although it would have been fine with me.
The family really appreciated the work delivered by AHW-West - and the excellent customer service we received. Will definitely keep them in our contacts list for hot water/plumbing issues.

I have a solar hot water unit and have had no hot water for 3 days. I spoke to a number of friends that are plumbers including my Nephew, every one of them said to call Aust Hot Water, as the will be faster and cheaper than them.
I made the call Thursday afternoon and John turned up first thing Friday morning, he had one look at my switchboard and found the problem. He could of bluffed me into paying for a new HWU as I had already told him we would need to replace it. Its a rare thing in this day and age (at least for me) to find someone so honest and reliable. I would recommend them to anyone that needed work done.

Recently installed a new hot water system through AHS East Sydney. Had a very positive experience. Steve in the showroom was very pleasant to deal with and explained things clearly to me. Marcus and Noah installed the system and after 2 months, nil issues to date. They also returned today free of charge to change a pipe which I had chosen on the day, but later changed my mind for aesthetic reasons. Was very happy that they came back for me when technically they had already finished the job. Would recommend to other owners.
Matt and Kai turned up early and as I knew already my water heater would need to be replaced. Then had a long discussion re a like for like replacement or swapping to a instant hot water system. Instant came out slightly cheaper and it's what I wanted since I had one at my old property. They just got on with it and done a great job. Removed the old tank system cleaned up after themselves and done a 5* star job that came in under what I was expecting to pay.

Australian Hot Water -East (Marcus, Grant and team) installed a 26 liter Riannai heater for us, they also removed the old heater tank that we originally had in our laundry room. They did an amazing job installing the new unit, they relocated the new heater outside the house so new connections and pipes were required. I can say that all the new pipes and connections are very well done and nicely place around the existing Gas and hot water pipes. I recommend these guys for your hot water services, they are professionals and their quotes for the services provided to us were reasonable.

I'm a plumber. My elderly neighbours had hot water issues but I just didn't have time. I told them to call Aus Hot Water. Unfortunately they rang a different plumber who quoted them 6 grand. Poor old lady nearly had a heart attack so I got onto Aus Hot Water in Caringbah. Spoke with Adam and within 2hrs they were there and replaced the thermostat. Couple of hundred dollars. Great experience, we are converting from gas to electricity. They installed a heat pump hot water system which needed new wiring, they also ran a new circuit to the kitchen for an electric cooktop. All the work was done quickly but carefully, pipework and wiring was neat and tidy, as was the site when they left. Minimum disruption. The office staff communicated regularly throughout the lead up all thorough professionals, thanks everyone.

Had a great experience with Australian Hot Water! The team are honest, efficient, experienced and exceptionally easy to deal with. They won't talk you into something that you don't need. Last year Billy helped us fix our old tank's ignition over the phone (with no charges), which then lasted us for another year. Whilst all the other suppliers that I reached out to at the time were trying to get us buy new tanks right away.

Our large hot water system leaked late on a Friday afternoon. While it was clear the system needs to be replaced, no plumber would offer to do the work, let alone on the weekend. I found these guys through a google search on our current model. They immediately quoted, which was better than what others were quoting. We booked them in and they turned up as promised. It was a very hot and himid day, but no complaints and just got the job done showing me how to use the new system, leaving no mess and putting fencing back in place as well. They also took care of the 22 year old system as well. So glad we found them. I'm recommending them to you without hesitation.
Woke up this morning went to have a shower and no hot water. Rang a few places and due to it being christmas / new year time no answer. Rang Australian Hot Water South problem fixed on the day. Was expecting to pay a holiday premium on the price nope got a very fair price. Very happy with the service if your going to use them hope you get John

Chris and his team were great. Came the same day and hooked up replacement tank to get me through until gas connected. Once gas hooked up, they promptly returned to install a new gas hot water system, plus plumbing for heating and gas cook top. Couldn't be happier. had Kris around to quote on replacing my hot water system to gas, as he was doing this he asked what was wrong with my hot water, told him, he then found the problem. i have now got hot water, I had been told by another plumber that my system was gone, When my system goes I will be using Australian hot water to replace it,

Service was beyond amazing!! I had an issue with my hot water system, contacted a few places and they said they can't fix the issue. Then I stumbled on these guys by accident and they came over and fixed the problem same day in a matter of 20 minutes or so. Im a very happy customer, their service is great.
