Dux Heat Pumps absorb renewable heat energy from the air that is processed through a R290 refrigeration system, resulting in hot water using a third of the energy of a traditional electric water heater. These are similar savings to a solar water heater, but without needing solar thermal collectors mounted on your roof. Dux ecosmart Heat Pumps are more efficient during warmer months and will operate for less hours during the day than in colder months of the year. Ecosmart heat pumps have a built in smart controller utilising connected technology via the Dux Smart Life App.

Josh the installer did a great job and carefully explained what he was doing and why the stainless steel system was better to replace my broken one. Also the model chosen is easier for me to turn off than the old model which I had to try to turn off near midnight down the back in electricity room.
